Joey

Joey kind of looks like Chet from The Real World: Brooklyn, but a lot less Mormon ... and possibly a lot less gay-acting and dressed.

Joey was expelled from two high schools, has alcohol problems, and claims to have seen a UFO. Does anything else really need to be said after that?

Jasmine

Jasmine looks like one mean, little mofo from her picture, and sure enough, MTV says:

"Don't be fooled by the small package. The five foot tall, ninety-five pound Jasmine has a lot to say and no problem saying it."

She is also described as a person who likes to be the center of attention, but let's be honest, every person in the history of Real World can be described as that. We'll describe her as the main b*tch who is probably going to stir some shit up in the house ... especially with the ladies.

Jonna

As discussed below, Jonna is already friend's with Derek, so that's a Real World first. She's used to counting on herself and being on her own though. She was in foster care, adopted at age 9, and then kicked out of her house at 18.

She also has "dreams of making people feel better about themselves by being a successful hairdresser." We don't know exactly what that means, but it sounds nice.

CJ

One look at the guy, and you know that he's the All-American boy. Sure enough, MTV describes him exactly as that. He graduated from UMASS and is trying to make an NFL team as a punter.

CJ also has a girlfriend back home, but history tells us that'll probably last about the first hour of the show.

Maybe he'll make the NFL, become an actor, or become a model ... or maybe he'll end up like MJ from the Real World:Philadelphia (they already have similar names) and be on Real World/Road Rules Challenges for the rest of his life. Remember MJ also had a desire to make the NFL ... history repeats itself.

Emilee

MTV's bio of Emily says that "she's now looking for love and someone to settle down with. Will she find that in Cancun?" My guess is no.

The 21-year old is the daughter of therapists and is looking to learn and grow from the show. Here is to hoping that you actually get some air time! Actually a lot of air time ... you are pretty sexy!

Ayiiia

I don't know how to say her name, but it is sexy and so is she! Ayiiia is of Mexican descent and speaks fluent Spanish, but the show will be her first extended stay in the country.

She didn't just get on the show for her beauty though. She has a history of drug abuse and cutting ... and surprise, surprise ... an attitude that can get a little bit out of control. She was also the realworldcasting.com winner, so hopefully she doesn't turn into another Greg from Real World: Hollywood.

Derek

Derek was the valedictorian of his graduating class and a captain of the basketball and track teams. You don't have to read his bio to know that he wasn't dating the head cheerleader though. He is the token gay guy in the house.

Also unusual is that he already knows Jonna as they work together at a bar in Tempe. MTV didn't have enough people to pick from that they had to cast two friends?

Bronne

Not an ordinary name, but I am not going to argue with the guy. The 21-year old Penn State student is on the varsity boxing team and a member of the ROTC.

Apparently he also likes pissing off his roommates and getting naked. Sound familiar? Maybe he'll be a meaner version of Isaac from The Real World: Sydney. He already half looks like him.

The Real World: Cancun Facts

The Real World: Cancun will premiere on June 24th.

This will also be the fourth season of the series to appear outside of the United States. The other three were London, Paris, and Sydney.

Like last season, there will be eight cast members again.

The cast will be working with the Spring Break site StudentCity.com as guides for visiting college students. Sounds like a hard job!

Production wrapped up in April, so the whole swine flu outbreak in Mexico wasn't a big deal while they were there. They still didn't drink the water though.
